Starting in 2026, USCIS has announced a fee increase for numerous immigration forms.
The fees for a number of immigration forms, such as those for asylum, parole, and Temporary Protected Status (TPS), will be modestly increased by USCIS beginning on January 1, 2026. Regular inflation adjustments are reflected in the updates.
On Thursday, November 20, 2025, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced small fee increases for a few immigration forms that would take effect on January 1, 2026.
This update is a component of the yearly inflation adjustment mandated by law (under H.R. 1). Be prepared to pay the additional fees if you intend to file any of these documents on or after January 1, 2026.
