Patna (Arrival) - Bodhgaya (114 kms / 3 hrs 24 min)
Drive to Bodhgaya, the site of the Buddha's enlightenment, after arriving in Patna. visit to Rajgir and Nalanda en route. One of the most well-known historic university citadels was Nalanda. The ancient capital of the strong Kingdom of Magadha was Rajgir. The Buddha lectured at Gridhrakuta, also known as Vultures Peak, which is accessible via a historic road from the outskirts of Rajgir. Spend the night at Bodhgaya.
Bodhgaya
After breakfast, visit the Mahabodhi temple and take in the attractions of Bodhgaya. Spend the night at Bodhgaya. (B)
Bodhgaya - Varanasi (251 kms / 6 hrs)
Leave Bodhgaya for Varanasi after breakfast. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival, followed by an afternoon excursion to Sarnath. Spend the night in Varanasi. (B)
Varanasi - Kushinagar (251 km/5 hours 30 min)
Take a boat trip on the Ganges after breakfast to witness the dawn and the bathing ghats of a historic Hindu city. Go to Kushinagar later. Spend the night and half a day exploring Kushinagar. (B)
Kushinagar - Lumbini - Sravasti (240 kms / 5 hrs)
