Kochi (Arrival) -Munnar (130 km/4 hrs):
Get to Munnar from the Kochi airport or train station. Savor the expansive vistas of the lush tea plantations and Cardamom hills while traveling. Check into the hotel to unwind after arriving. Enjoy some hiking in the area later. Spend the night in Munnar.
Munnar
Take a sightseeing tour of Munnar after breakfast. The main sights, including Eravikulam National Park, Old Munnar Town, Mattupetty Dam, Dairy Farm, and Attukad Waterfalls, will be explored. Spend the night in Munnar. (B)
Munnar -Thekkady (99 km/2 hours 29 min):
After breakfast in the morning, travel by road to Thekkady's Periyar National Park. Take a boat ride on Periyar Lake in the evening, see the wide range of wildlife, and then head back to the hotel. Spend the night in Thekkady. (B)
Thekkady -Kumarakom (122 km/3 hours 31 min):
After breakfast, travel to Kumarakom, which is known for its backwater and is situated on the largest freshwater lake, Vembanad Lake. Enjoy the verdant surroundings while traveling. After arriving, check into the hotel and relax for the remainder of the day. Spend the night in Kumarakom. (B)
Kumarakom - Kochi (49 kms / 1 hr 27 min)
