Chennai (Arrival):
After arriving at the Chennai airport or railway station, head to the hotel to check in. Spend the night in Chennai and explore the beaches.
Chennai - Mahabalipuram (56 kms / 2 hrs) :
Drive to Mahabalipuram after breakfast to see Crocodile Farm, Dakshinachitra (a craft town), Shore Temple (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Pancha Ratha, Varaha Cave Temple, Tiger Cave, Krishna Mandapam, Balancing Rock, and Arjuna's Penance. Spend the night in Mahabalipuram.
Mahabalipuram - Puducherry (95 kms / 2.5 hrs):
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and head to Puducherry. While traveling, stop at Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Raj Niwas, and Sacred Heart Church. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an oriental example of Gothic architecture in addition to being a place of worship. Spend the night in Puducherry. (B)
